My favorite thing about being part of the insulation industry is the sense of community shared by insulation professionals. We are always challenging one another to stay on top of technological advancements within the industry to find the best possible insulation solutions for homeowners.
I’ve also always been proud of A+ Insulation’s commitment to education. It’s how we ensure high-quality professional work and are always up to date on the latest changes and innovations in the industry.
Recently, we partnered with the High Performance Insulation Professionals (HPIP) and co-hosted a training workshop for all of the insulation professionals in Kansas City.
HPIP is a national association that is working to build collaboration and excellence within the industry. A+ Insulation has been a member of HPIP since 2013. In addition, I am a member of the HPIP Board of Directors. Co-hosting this event was a great opportunity to share our commitment to excellence with others in the industry.
This two-day training event was a great success. We hosted over 100 insulation contractors, installers, and builders from across the Midwest.
The first day of the event offered a full day of classroom training sessions. Everyone also had a great time networking and meeting other industry professionals.
The second day, we had the most fun! All of the attendees spent the day with some hands-on training and enjoyed several system demonstrations and product certifications.
Participants learned about a wide variety of products, including loosefill fiberglass systems, radiant barriers and reflective insulation, continuous insulation, and airflow studies.
Attendees also had an opportunity to earn their high-performance insulation credential during the training.
The workshop received high marks from participants. I couldn’t have been more proud! Since this was the first regional workshop we have done as an association, we were thrilled that it was such a success!
